Subject: "you are very naive"

You and your left-wingnut friends needs to focus on the facts.  I'm not sure you are one of the thousands of people who have jumped on this liberal bandwagon, but you are wasting your time and are incorrect with you accusations.  The people who oppose Bush are the same ones that appreciated what fake push-overs that liberals such as Clinton and Wellstone were.  Bush is not perfect, but he is truthful and a steadfast American.

Please don't call me names.

Please let me know where I have gone wrong. I will correct my website if there is an error of fact. Which of these accusations are incorrect?

  1. Bush said Iraq was an imminent threat to America and had weapons of mass destruction.
  2. Article VI of the US Constitution states that International Treaties are part of the "Supreme Law of the Land".
  3. The US signed the UN Charter.
  4. The UN Security Council voted against invading Iraq.
  5. The UN Charter says we can't invade other countries
unless there is an imminent threat.
  6. Bush deliberately exaggerated the threat from Iraq.
  7. Bush invaded Iraq using that "imminent threat" as a justification.
  8. Bush violated the UN Charter, and therefore violated
the US Constitution, and should be impeached.

I realize the accusation about deliberately misleading people is critical and may be the most controversial. This page discusses the issue in some detail:

> fake push-overs that liberals such as Clinton

Clinton led a Nato coallition into Serbia to stop a genocide in progress. This was sanctioned by the UN because of the immediate and ongoing murder and ethnic cleansing. That is an example of a justified and legal use of force. Invading Iraq was neither justified nor legal.

Most liberals are willing to fight for their country. But it must be legal and justified. Law and Order is very important, especially at an international level. Compare Kerry and Bush's war record for some insights in this regard.

By the way, if you normally watch Fox news, then I would urge you to watch CNN for one week to see an alternative point of view.

Thanks,
Phil

Hi Phil,

I have little time to argue about Bush, Iraq, or anything else you are upset about.  But one thing I would not touch on (if I was you) is Kerry's war record.  He should be ashamed of himself for turning against the POWs in Vietnam. How he and Jane Fonda can even call themselves patriots is an insult to men of honor such as John McCain.  As for the Fox and CNN idea, I rarely watch Fox News.  I know that the other networks lean toward the left, but I enjoy hearing all perspectives.  CNN and MSNBC are my networks of choice.
